ASDOG’s puppies are chosen from breeds that are kind and gentle with people, have a high tolerance to physical contact and a willingness to please. These dogs are usually Labradors, Golden Retrievers or mixes of these two breeds. The Standard Poodle, a very intelligent breed
with a high regard for people, may be introduced in the future.
These breeds have been bred for a long time to work with people. Most of them love human company, are calm in public, love retrieving and have a great desire to please.
The puppies are chosen from carefully selected dog lines which have good temperaments and
which have been tested to ensure they are free from hereditary problems. The breeders chosen
have a sound understanding of dog behaviour and learning and are experienced in socialising
their puppies well. The breeders associated with ASDOG are those who expose the puppies
to many positive experiences from an early age.
